Danylle Hammett Promo

On the 9th of December, Danylle strained her MCL at Breckenridge. Trying to use the time productively, besides rehab for her knee, she decided to put together some footage of her previous skiing. Going from Keystone, Breck, and to Copper here are some of the shots that were collected. Enjoy!

Strained MCL

As we all know injuries are apart of action sports. As Danylle is always pushing her skiing one of the jumps got the better of her and sent her home with a strained MCL. However, being the lucky girl that she is it only took her off the slopes for a couple weeks.

Macking the most of her injury she takes advantage of all the luxuries of an injury. This cart hauls!

Grand Prix at Copper

Shaun White, Louie Vito and hometown boy, Zack Black came ready to ride and secured themselves a spot on top.

Kelly Clark, Gretchen Bleiler and Soko Yamoka threw down for the podium spots.

Inside the RED BULL Riders tent, so comfy!

The Grand Prix being an Olympic Halfpipe Qualifer brought a strong field of riders from all over the world to Copper Mountain; making it a very exciting comp to compete and be in.
Overall, our first competition of the year was an all around success. All of the IAM competitors rode well, stomped down some progressive runs and exceeded some of their own expectations. It was a great first competition to kick off the season.

Coming half way around the world Lauren Stavely arrived to the IAM House from Melbourne, Australia on December 5. With her she brought her sweet and caring personality along with a smooth riding style both in the pipe and on the slopestyle courses. We're all stoked to have her here and have been inspired to work on our Oz accents as well. :-D

Based in Frisco right in the center of Summit County with the bus stop only a few blocks from the house and Copper and Wal-Mart right around the corner this spot was a no brainer to move into. Along with the huge parking lot driveway and beautiful view of Mt Royal this place was a definite upgrade, we're all happy to be living in a home and not just a house. Check out our new HOME!

Matty Kirchgasler Arrives

Matty comes from the land of 10,000 lakes and sub zero temps, that's right you guessed it, Minnesota. Coming from the land where there's hard packed ice to ride, he is surely happy to be out in the mountains where the powder is a little more forgiving. IAM is stoked to welcome Matty to IAM House.

IAM Night is held every Tuesday evening, where all of the IAM athletes spend the evening together doing an activity of choice. These activities may range from a night of bowling, going to a Denver Nuggets game to watching a movie or playing cards. IAM nights were formed to help all the athletes to reconnect with one another throughout the busy season and have a sense of family/community within the house. IAM Nights are not mandatory, but athletes are strongly encouraged to be apart of it. Most athletes look forward to the activities that are planned for each IAM Night, for they know fun is guaranteed.

This IAM Night's activity was making IAM Facemasks. All the athletes got the opportunity to pick out their own fabrics to create their very own style of facemask. All of these athlete specific facemasks will later be embroidered with the IAM Logo and worn by the athlete themselves.
