IAM Night is held every Tuesday evening, where all of the IAM athletes spend the evening together doing an activity of choice. These activities may range from a night of bowling, going to a Denver Nuggets game to watching a movie or playing cards. IAM nights were formed to help all the athletes to reconnect with one another throughout the busy season and have a sense of family/community within the house. IAM Nights are not mandatory, but athletes are strongly encouraged to be apart of it. Most athletes look forward to the activities that are planned for each IAM Night, for they know fun is guaranteed.

This IAM Night's activity was making IAM Facemasks. All the athletes got the opportunity to pick out their own fabrics to create their very own style of facemask. All of these athlete specific facemasks will later be embroidered with the IAM Logo and worn by the athlete themselves.

Cody Weselis Arrives

Cody Weselis arrived to the IAM House on November 14th from L.A. and with him he brought his musical talents for all to enjoy. He also has a background of doing stunt work for shows and movies, which shows through in his riding with the control he displays while in the air. We are all excited to have him as apart of IAM and enjoy the life he brings to the house.

What is IAM???

Based in Summit County, Colorado, International Academy of the Mountains (IAM) is an affordable academy that helps young snowboard and ski athletes achieve their goals by providing lodging, food, transportation, tutoring, mentoring and off-hill supervision for youth ages 13-19. This gives the athletes the opportunity to train full time at some of the best resorts in the country, including: Copper, Breckenridge, and Keystone. Participation in a snowboard/ski team is strongly recommended; this program is designed to go hand in hand with training schedules set by local snowboard/ski teams. If you are a serious athlete ready to take your skills to the next level, this program is designed for you!

IAM is located in Summit County, Colorado, centrally located in be-tween Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper (host of USASA Nationals, US Snowboard Grand Prix, and first pipe in North America to open). Quite frankly, it’s the best place to be for progression and getting endless opportunities to compete in huge events that were named above.
The IAM House is a brand-new 4250 square foot home complete with a tuning area, pool table, hot tub and views of lake Dillon! Rooms are dormitory style with one bunk bed and one queen bed which means three people to a room. The rooms are spacious so it doesn't feel like camp, it feels like home!
